"There are two Johan Johaninpoika's born in the same decade. Only one appears to get married and have children, but I can't tell which.

Here's the funnypart - One of them is Greta Lisa's own brother! I know, I know, go with the other one. But there is some serious evidence to suggest that Johan might be Leinonen/Kilpinen. There's some surname switching going on, and one of the surnames involved is Greta's...

Ok, think I have a solution now. Greta Elisabeth's family passes surnames through the mother. So, while her father was indeed a Leinonen, she and her brother Johan inheritted the name Kilpinen (they are very consistent about it in that family). So, this Johan isn't a Kilpinen, so hemust be the other Johan Johaninpoika Leinonen. Greta Lisa's mother also had aprevious marriage before Johan Leinonen. I'm thinking, you might get stuck with your brother as your husband as a young girl, but you'd NEVER chose him as asecond marriage. Case Closed."
